Deniz Cakir (Sevda)

Deniz Cakir was first introduced to the Turkish audience in Kadin Isterse for her role as Alev. Later she also appeared in the National Theater’s play titled, Uyarca. But she became a household name for her role as Ferhunde in Yaprak Dokumu, currently one of the highest rated shows in Turkey.

A graduate of Hacettepe University Conservatory in Ankara, Cakir has worked for the Ankara Radio as well as numerous voice over projects and commercials.

40 is Cakir’s first foray into the feature film world.
